The COB (Continuous Open Bidding) process begins after bid day for first years, and fall for second years and upperclassmen. During this process, a small number of chapters may elect to participate in informal recruitment. Women may receive a bid from a sorority outside the primary recruitment setting. Those who participated in the previous primary recruitment cycle, received a bid, but declined, are ineligible.

Please keep in mind that each year, few sororities participate in this process and it is up to the chapter’s discretion as to whether or not they will participate. It is a great option for those who did not receive any bid.
